June/July Update

So, this summer has gone by petty fast. Only three more weeks and August will be here! I am so excited! Chris and I are going to be so busy! We are going to see my family in California and go wake boarding for a whole week. Then we move into our new place. And then, it is off to Hawaii!! Chris's brother is getting married there and so we get to go! Then school starts! So, there are only three more weeks in Parma!! Parma is a nice city, but it is out in the middle of nowhere.
June-
June went by super fast!! I can hardly remember the month. Chris and I made it to our first year anniversary!! We went to a hotel to get out of the house and had a good time staying in Boise for the weekend. I made us the cake we had at our wedding because we weren't able to save the top.

I made a tie for my daddy for Father's Day.

 It got to him a little bit late though, because I was stuck in Utah at the birth of my nephew.

His name is Carson. He was kept in the hospital for about a week after we was born because when he was born his heart rate was little high. But everything is fine! He is a perfect baby! He is very long and skinny.

So, Winston loves to play with other dogs. This is Robbie, Chris's old boss's dog. They were so cute playing. Robbie is a Springer Spaniel so he looks a lot like Winston, he is just darker and has floppy ears. I love this video!

Chris was let go from his job at the end of June. Funny story actually, because his boss said they didn't need him anymore. They could just do the work themselves. Then, not more than three days later his old boss called and said, "Hey, this is too much for us, can you come back??" haha. Too bad, so sad. Chris had already found another job. That's right! My husband is just that good! He actually found a new job the same day he was let go. He's so great!
He really likes this job a lot more, too. He works 8 hours a day, instead of 10 or more! He gets home early in the afternoon. He is surrounded by good people, and he feels appreciated! I'm so happy for him! He comes home and he is actually in a good mood!! :-)
And, because Chris was let go from his old job he was able to go down and see baby Carson with all of us for the blessing in July!

 Chris was so good! Carson was fussy while I was holding and Chris got him to quite right down!

 

So, just before we left to Utah Winston found my favorite shoes and made one his chew toy. I was upset, but it was my fault because I left my shoes on the floor and him without a toy while I was napping. I got three new pairs of shoes though, because Chris felt bad! So in the end it wasn't the worst thing that could have happened. 

For the Fourth Dan, Betsy, and Joe came to visit and we had did fireworks and went shooting. We had lots of fun. The next door neighbors cow had a baby. They do roping and the baby was a total surprise! He was so little. Seriously not taller than Winston.

Speaking of Winston, he is a very spoiled dog! We bought him his first very own bed! We used blankets before, but they weren't fluffy enough for him. He would always take 10 minutes rolling them around trying to make them perfect to sleep on. Winston really loves his new bed!

Chris and I are both very excited to get into our new apartment!! I have so many wonderful ideas for furniture that we need and how I want to decorate it! :-) YAY!
I will post all of our wonderful creations when we finish! That won't be for awhile though.

Are poor pup Winston had to go get snipped on Monday! On Tuesday when we picked him up you would have never known he had surgery less than 12 hours ago. He was all over the place and very happy to see Chris and I! I really missed him all day Monday! My day went by sooo slow. He is doing great now, he just misses playing in the water! It is stinking hot here and he can't get wet for two weeks! On my way home, Monday, from dropping him off a rock hit the windshield and did a little number. We had the windshield replaced the next day. Glass exploded every where on the inside and it made a really loud popping noise.

The other day I got a text message from my mother of my younger brother in the hospital. They don't know what he has yet, but they are thinking mrsa! I keep bugging my dad for updates and he keeps telling me he knows nothing. He has to stay another day and hopefully they can figure it out.

 It is not like it is really tough staying in the hospital though. They have cable, Wii, and a/c (it's like 110 right now). The other night he got popcorn and a movie. So, I'm pretty sure that he is going to be ok!

So, Ally and Brandon and their cute baby Carson are coming up for a few weeks before they move to Connecticut for a couple of years. I'm pretty excited to hang out with Carson all day and help Ally! It will be fun!
