First of all, I have finally graduated from college! Yay! The whole weekend was just awesome. My family was able able to attend because my grandpa was able to fly them all up in his plane and my older brother was in Salt Lake City for his internship with Super Top Secret a graphic design company. Once my family all arrived we did so much together. We went to Yellowstone and saw old faithful, yes she was faithful, but she was about 20 minutes late.
The next day was the best not only because I graduated, but because we got to go to bear world and see the cutest little bear cubs. I will have to go back someday just so that I can actually feed the bear cubs. We weren't able to make a reservation and we were too late to do a walk-in.
Graduation was all really surreal. It was just crazy to think that I was finally done with school. I mean just how awesome is that. And crazy because it is now what I have been doing for most of my life. I'm very excited for this next chapter in my life and Chris's.
Speaking of this new chapter of our lives!!! The whole point behind me actually keeping up with our blog now is because Chris is joining the Air Force. He drove me down to California and was here for a few days. Then he flew back to Idaho on Saturday. He spent the night at our best friends place in Rexburg, Zach & Julie, (Thank you so much!). Then on Sunday his recruiter came and picked him up and they drove to Butte, Montana. He stayed overnight in a hotel with some other guys who are heading to basic training. On Monday at 5ish they flew to SLC, had about a two hour layover and then flew to Texas. They arrived at midnight and I got a call from him letting me know that he had landed safely. That was the last time that I have heard from him. He has now been there for a day and still no word, but I'm sure that I will hear from him soon. I will be sure to fill everyone in on all of the details as soon as I have them. Oh, and he is going to be sending me a card with his address and so if you want to you guys can write to him!!
Until next time!!
Peace & Love
