He is doing great! He made it through BEAST week and he only has a little bit of a sunburn on his lip. His Flight did so well. They actually won the best Flight award or something like that. They ended up gaining 10 more points toward becoming best Flight overall and if they win at the end they get an extra off base pass on Sunday of graduation week.
I'm seriously freaking out! I get to see my husband in almost a week and I can't wait!! He has worked so hard and he has done so much. I'm so proud of him. He has survived being an Element Leader, his Flight is coming together and things seem to be wrapping up perfectly for him! He has lots of test this week though and on the phone he sounded a little nervous about them. He just really wants to do his very best. I know that he will. He is so amazing!! I honestly can't say enough good things about him.... He is just awesome to me. And, I got a phone call this week! The really great news is that I'm going to get a phone call this weekend too! It will be his seven week phone call. It will probably only be 15 minutes like this last one was, but still, I'll get to see him 4 days after anyways!
I honestly can't believe that two months went by so fast. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy, but staying busy really helped the time to go by faster. Being with my family has also really helped me to keep my mind busy and not dwell on the fact that my husband is gone.
I'm so glad that I got a phone call this weekend and I am going to see him in just over a week. Let's keep him in our prayers as he is finishing up with tests!
